Adam grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He started writing plays and playing bridge in high school, and continued both at Wesleyan University, where he majored in Theater and English. After graduating, he interned at the Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati and then moved to New York to pursue theater.
Adam currently lives in New York City, where he writes plays and musicals and teaches bridge. His plays have been seen in New York, Los Angeles, and Cincinnati. He is a national bridge champion who writes a monthly column for the ACBL's Bridge Bulletin and has published five books on bridge. He is a partner and head of education at Bridge Winners (www.bridgewinners.com), the web's premier site for bridge news and discussion.
